It is important to wash your new hair system with your head back in the shower.
Smooth SULPHATE FREE Shampoo down the hair and let water seep down.
Do not rub roughly as this could cause matting and issues for you and the stylist.
Always use recommended products that I have advised.
GUIDE TO WASHING HAIR

Apply sulphate free shampoo
Glide hands down the wet hair with shampoo in palm
Do not rub hair, stroke the suds down

Style as required, disuse or dry naturally. If drying straight dry off 80% of hair making sure system is supported with hand.
AT NIGHT
Place hair into side ponytail and secure with soft SCRUNCHIE to keep hair neat at night.
I you want to create waves at night then you can plait hair to avoid tangles.
Never go to bed with wet hair .
KEY TIPS TO MAINTENANCE
1. Always advisable to wash hair in the shower using a gentle hair extension brush to avoid tangles.
Do not wash your hair til 3 days after fitting to allow bonds to set.
Dry shampoo may be used for this period.
2. Wet the hair and dilute with shampoo with warm cup of water before applying, stroke the recommended shampoo down the hair, squeeze gently and do not rub hair.
DO NOT use any COMMERCIAL Shampoos, Conditioner, Sprays, Mouse, Gels or Conditioning agents on the bonds or they will become softer and may slip.
Only use specialist products to keep your hair in tip top condition and your bonds firm.
DO NOT GO BED WITH BED HAIR AND ALWAYS BRUSH THROUGH.
3. Lift your hair and apply soap suds to the nape area.
4. Rinse thouroughly and apply conditioner to mid length down (avoiding roots and bonds)
5. When brushing always support them with one hand (vigorous brushing will cause damage and breakage and may cause issues to the system)
6. Always tie back hair when swimming, sunbathing, sleeping and taking part in sports.
You may plait to keep the cuticles from rubbing together and causing friction.
7. If wearing tight headgear you may experience softening of the bonds and they may become flatter ( Motorbike helmet, Horse-riding)
8. Any colouring of your hair can be done 2 weeks prior to the fitting.
9. DO NOT bleach extensions or hair system. DO NOT process hair ie: perming, colouring, highlights, processing or colouring in any way the chemicals used in the hair extensions may not be compatible for the chemicals and results may be disappointing.
10. Hair Quality cannot be guaranteed if you have used your own shampoo or products.
As some commercial products are strong and contain chemicals that break the bonds down DO NOT USE ANY COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS ON HAIR EXTENSIONS.
11. Put your hair in a hair net in the night or soft scrunchie.
12. Use a shower cap when having a shower to protect.
13. If having greasy hair use dry shampoo between washes.
14. Once to twice a week hair wash.
15. Chlorine can damage your hair causing it to go dry but if you are the type of person to go swimming often you have to take this in to account and to rinse thoroughly without being too rough after swims. Chlorine and salt water eventually break down the bonds fitted to the hair system so hair must be rinsed thoroughly after being in a pool and sea.
And then let the hair air dry before spraying with daily spray in from mid length downwards
and softly brush supporting hair with hand.
16. If you tend to exercise a lot try to tie your hair back in a soft scrunchie and not too tight.
Apply dry shampoo daily and try to keep to 1 wash per week.
Also if you tend to wear any headgear the system may appear to feel tight.
17. For being in the sun tie your hair back when sunbathing and do not lie on the hair as it will tend to knot up. Condition well and avoid root are and always wearing a hat will help.
MAINTENANCE
You must attend a maintenance for refits at least 6 weeks if you need to come sooner as system is becoming loose please book in sooner.
This will ensure the mesh is always secured tightly to the head which is very important when making it look natural.
It's crucial every 6 months to attend a realignment appointment where the system will have to be replaced (mesh, beads ring etc) . Your hair system will then be washed and dried and then refitted. Hair will be replaced if it needs to be and the same with the mesh.
Any questions just ask me and I will help you.
